Fun for couples and groups - great sample of the region - learn about the Grampians!


Duration: 6 hours  Available: Every Sunday plus extra days during peak times.

Departs: Halls Gap/Pomonal: approx. 11:30am returns about 5:30pm.

Pricing: Booking 5-11 people $175pp, 4 people $180pp, 3 people $185pp, 2 people $195pp

Included: Pick up & drop off from Halls Gap/Pomonal/Lake Fyans, wine tasting at 4 vineyards, lunch, underground cellar tour and interesting commentary. 

About: You will be picked up or will meet at a designated location and begin your tour. We can pick you up from the bus stop across the road from the information centre if choosing to have breakfast in town before the tour OR when staying in Halls Gap or Pomonal we can pick you up from your accommodation. Pick up times/prices may vary upon individual request. All tours starting from Halls Gap & Pomonal are included in the below price. For all other locations please visit our pick up/drop off page.

First stop is Fallen Giants Vineyard for wine tasting - this vineyard was planted on the steep Eastern slopes of the Grampians in 1969 and has just been award the Jimmy Watson Trophy in 2021 for their 2019 Shiraz.

Next: Pomonal Estate - a chance to change it up a little - you can enjoy a beer and cider paddle or a wine paddle with 5 different types of beverages on each paddle. This is also our lunch location with many choices available including options to suit all dietary requirements. 

Followed by, Grampians Estate Wines for wine tasting. This newly renovated cellar door also stocks lovely local produce such as olive oils, salts, jams plus much more. 

Last stop at the Legendary Best's Wines for not only wine tasting, including premium wine tasting of their Concongella & growers collection. Taste some of the oldest vines in Australia, with time for a guided underground cellar tour to learn about the history of the region and its wines. 

From here you will be dropped back at your designated location.

Bring a jacket/coat in cooler weather as some wine tasting may be outside.

If one location is closed / not available - we will add another location as a substitute.

What to know

Water: Is provided at each location for you. You can purchase a water pouch for $6 each if you would like us to supply water during your bus trip OR please bring your own reusable water bottle.

Consumption of alcohol: prior to joining the wine tour is greatly discouraged. Any inappropriate behaviour or intoxication will result in the tour being cut short with no refund on monies or may result in no further wine tasting or drinks provided. We take responsible drinking seriously with all our guides holding a current RSA and will manage all behaviour as they see fit including terminating a wine tour. Children:  Children under 2 years are not suitable to join the tours - please contact us. Children 2 years to 5 years are charged at the infant rate when two paying adults are booking - please use the infant option when booking. Children 6 - 17 years are charge at the child rate, please use this option when booking.
